Hedgie Friends Stamp Set Review
Hello Everyone,
The stamp set comes with a variety of images and one sentiment that would work great on any project especially handmade cards. This set feels so springy and with the hedgehogs they just add some more cuteness to it. The only fault of this set is if you plan on cutting the images out you have to do it by hand or use a shapes dies. The set unfortunately doesn’t come with coordinating dies like other stamp companies have.
Here I will stamp each image and sentiment on some white cardstock using the Versafine Onyx black ink so you are able to see what they look like. These images would work great together when creating your project or you can just use them as individuals. As you can see the hedgehog on the bike didn’t quite fully stamp so there was no way for me to line to stamp it again. I just had to ink the stamp up and create a new image. But for avid stampers who enjoy stamping a lot there is a tool called the Misit. The Misiti helps you to be able to re ink your stamps if the image didn’t come out clear. The second time stamping the image it missed a little spot but I wasn’t going to worry too much about it because I figured I could use my EK Success black marker to add some more hair and then just blend it in.
Once all the images were stamped I then decided to add a little swirl behind the dragon fly t using my black sharpie pen. I thought adding the swirl gave it some detail and looked cute.
For the rest of the images there is a variety of options for colouring them in from water colouring, to markers and pencil crayons. The options are just endless. For this part I speed up the colouring since it took a bit and would have made the video really long. For these I decide to use my EK Success markers, I think when using the markers it just makes the images pop and stand out. You can dress these hedgehogs up for an added touch for some of the hedgehogs I decide to use my light pink maker and give them some rosy cheeks you could also stamp the image on some white cardstock and then on some pattern paper which would take a little more time but would make for a cute touch. But to make it easy just colouring it works best. When I was colouring the hedgehog holding the umbrella I used the chisel end of the markers to colour it in because it was a bigger area and it made it go faster.

Ek Tools Craft Marker Set
Hello everyone,
Today I thought I would do a review on some new craft markers I have been using and loving the past few months.
Today I thought I would do a review on some new craft markers I have been using and loving the past few months.
A few months ago I went to Home Sence and found these makers by the brand Ek tools. The markers came in two sets one with pastel colours and another Primary colours each with six markers in the package. Each marker also contained a fine point end and a chisel end. The markers reminded me of Copics just with less colours. I had never heard of these markers before and decided to give them a try. when I first saw them I bought the pastel package and went home right away to give them a try.
I stamped two images on a piece of white card stock. For the first image I used the Ek markers and coloured the image. For the second image I used Crayola markers. I then compared both of the images and the one that was coloured in using the Ek markers came out very bright and the one with Crayola markers came out very dark.

I really loved the markers and decided to go back and purchase the primary colour set. I think these markers are great for beginners and are a great alternative for Copic markers because they are less expressive.
